APRIL SHOPPING TOUR TO GUADALAJARA AND SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Join Paul and Monica for shopping and fun in two of Mexico’s hottest shopping destinations. Stay in elegant bed and breakfast boutique hotels, experience fine regional cooking and shop to your heart’s content.
We will meet at the San Jose Del Cabo airport to fly to Guadalajara or will meet in Guadalajara if coming directly from the USA. Our first night we will rest at an intimate Bed & Breakfast in Tlaquepaque just outside Guadalajara.
The trip is a Tuesday through Sunday pattern in order to fulfill two full days of furniture shopping on Wednesday & Thursday in the towns surrounding Guadalajara (Tonala and Tlaquepaque). On Friday morning we leave to San Miguel de Allende by private van and stop in Dolores Hidalgo (Birthplace of the Revolution) and have lunch in Guanajuato to see the ceramic factory of Santa Rosa.
Friday and Saturday nights we stay at cozy Bed and Breakfasts right in the heart of the shopping district of San Miguel de Allende. Saturday we will see furniture factories and accessory stores and have our hands on cooking class with Chef Patsy Dubois and a salsa dance lesson.
Sunday after breakfast and a short art class we fly home via Leon airport (1hr from San Miguel) directly to San Jose del Cabo or if need be go back to Guadalajara (5 hours) to catch your flights home to the USA.

Private Villa house tour of 3 lovely villas in San Miguel is optional
Cooking Class can be omitted as this is just to add some Mexican fun or we can replace it with Salsa dancing classes on Saturday night.
Free shopping time in San Miguel is crucial so one must not feel obligated to attend the cooking class.
Friday & Saturday evenings in San Miguel will be lots of fun so bring your dancing shoes.
Sunday is our return day Home but one can stay on if need be. Golf is available at Club de Golf Malanquin.
